=IF(AND(. . . ????

I don't use these multi level formulas enough to remember how to set them up.
.. . here is what I’d Like to do.

.. A B C

1 $100 “Paid†$100

2 $100 “part†$75

3 $100 “half†$50

I would like a formula in C1 that looks at B1 and if it is “Paid†then A1*1
if it is “part†then A1*0.75 and if it is “half†then A1*0.5

Please help I seem to be missing a ( ) some were when I do it . . . .
Thanks John D

hi
=if(B1="Paid",A1,IF(B1="part",A1*.75,if(B1="half",B1*.5,0)))
or if you only have 3 possible options then
=if(B1="Paid",A1,IF(B1="part",A1*.75 ,B1*.5))

Try this in C1 and copy down as needed:

=A1*IF(B1="Paid",1,IF(B1="Part",0.75,IF(B1="Half",0.5,0)))

Hi,

If you always have one of those three text entries than you can shorten the
formula to

=A2*IF(B2="Part",0.75,IF(B2="Half",0.5,1))

Cheers,
