if a scheduled task did not end

We set up a scheduled task to run every 10 minutes. We expect the task should
be finished in much less than 10 min.

Problem is this task might not be completed due to certain error conditions
(server not available, wrong data feed-in, etc.) . It
generates an error awaiting user intervention. If there isn't any user
intervention, can someone answer if or if not the next task will start.

Control Panel|Scheduled Tasks|"task"|Properties|Settings and check the box
for "Stop the task if it runs........." and set this to some reasonable
value.
