IExplorer 6 application error on startup

R

Rick L

For a few weeks now (since I did the MSBlaster fix) when I
log into my workstation I get an:

IEXPLORER.EXE - Application Error
The instruction at "0x004091fb" referenced memory
at "0x00000000". The memory could not be "read".

There seems to be no issues other than this error message
coming up. I can click OK, and work fine from then on.

But getting this error every time I log in is annoying.
Any idea where it could be coming from? I've found
nothing so far in the Knowlege Base.

HijackThis (http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/files/hijackthis.zip) is the
preferred tool to use these days. It will help to both identify and remove
any hijackware/spyware. **Post your files to
http://forums.spywareinfo.com/, not here.**

Also update your virus definitions and then run a full system scan. From
now on, do both daily.
