Hello, I have IE 6.0 SP1, under Windows 98SE. When I am
online using IE 6.0 sometimes when i am at a search engine
or typing a website at the Address bar, I get an illegal
operation, or on rare occasion, Internet explorer
literally disappears. This happens at random, and it seems
to happen only when I select or highlight text (to rewrite
it),in either situation, is when it mostly occurs. When I
use backspace to erase text there appears to be no
problem. The illegal operation states the following:
This program has performed an illegal operation and will
be shut down.
if this problen persists, contact the program vendor.
IEXPLORE caused an invalid page fault in
module USER.EXE at 001e:0000166c.
