iexplore.exe Application error

I often receive this error message when shutting down, between closing open
pages and hitting the start button this message appears. The instruction at
"0x04ca454d" referenced memory at "0x04ca454". The memory could not be read.
Click OK to terminate the program. I don't know what it means, an explanation
would be great.
