IEXPLORE.EXE - Application Error, Concerning "referenced Memory"

I was just browsing the internet the other day when i
encountered the following error message from Internet
Explorer.

{

The instruction at "0x77f963c1" referenced memory
at "0x203b3128". The memory could not be "read".

Click OK to terminate the program.

}

Can anyone give me information on this error?

I get the same thing with Windows 2000 SP4. I tried
replacing the Explorer.exe file (in Winnt folder) with one
from another computer but that didn't work. As far as I
can tell this is a common problem with Win 2000 and XP. I
can't find anything in Microsoft's Knowledgebase either -
typical!
