ieexplorer error message

I continue to get error message and ie closes. The
message says error in mshtml.dll. I went to knowledge
base to get help. I read base article 810887, which
seemed to be my problem,but have bot been able to
resolve. when following the steps to resolve, I cannot
find the smart tabs to disable or remove.

If it doesn't work, you may have a corrupted copy. Use system file checker
to extract a replacement.
