IEEE1394

[Al Sheppard]

I installed a Belkin IEEE1394 PC card on my computer to
create DVDs from my camcorder. The card is acting like a
network card. It has disabled my broadband connection.
How do I reconfigure all this to make everything work?

In the Device Manager, find the entry for 1394 Network Adapter... right
click on it and select Disable.

Do NOT select Uninstall. Since you are not actually removing the card, all
this will do is force XP to reinstall it at the next reboot.
