Installed it.....while on the Internet, (over several days time) periodically
would get the message "Internet Explorer stopped working" then it would go
through the process of 'shutting IE down", but wouldn't actually happen, and
then I just continue with what I was doing.

The biggest problem, when I was using MSOffice 2007 (MSWord 2007), and then
try to close it....it won't. I get the same error message "MS Word stopped
working, do you want to close the program....(there is no other choice, if
you click the 'x' it reapeats the process.
So you tell it 'yes', it 'reboots Word, and it starts all over again. You
cannot close it.
I even uninstalled IE8, uninstalled MSOffice 2007 and reinstalled it.
None of it helped. Now it is unusable.
Thanks Microsoft.

I hope there is a fixable solution.

At the very least there is a glitch with IE8.......while using it I would
get error messages frequently about IE8....

It appears your installation of IE 8 was interrupted and that is not good.
