IE7 hangs with "Click Once Deployment" any fixes?

Greetings,

I have been using the Click Once deployment feature of VS2005 - very nice.
I had IE6 at the time when I started using Click Once Deployment, and
everything worked fine. But then my workstation got upgraded to IE7, and now
whenever I deploy an application and IE7 comes up for the Install page - it
just says "Connecting..." and just hangs, and then I have to manually end the
program. I did not have this problem with IE6. Are there any fixes for this?

Thanks,
Rich

I used IE6, then upgraded to IE 7, while developing and using click once. I
have had no probs. Check another computer with IE7 on your deployment.

Thanks for your reply. My workstation is the only workstatioin with VS
loaded (small shop). I am hoping that it is just a setting in IE7 or maybe I
just need to manually load IE7 on my workstation.

Upload your click once deployement to some location that another workstation
with IE7 can get to, get it to install your app using it and see if they
have issues?

The apps upload and deploy OK, and other workstations install the app OK.
And I can reach the Install page (...publish.htm) fine on my workstation if I
manually type in the address.

It is just annoying when I deploy an app from my workstation because "Click
Once" brings up IE to the install page, and this is where IE7 hangs on my
workstation. So I have to manually close/end the IE session... for IE7.

If its specific to your IE7 version then it isnt a IE7 issue. Check your
addons, see if one of those is the incompatibilitiy. Trial and error
checking through, tedious but it would find the issue.
