IE7 default home page problem.

Hi,

This message is about IE 7, but I can't find it from the Group list, so, I
post it here, hope I can get the answer.

I just upgrade my IE to IE 7, and set the default home page to
http://intranet/index.asp. but every time when I start ie 7, it tries to link
to http://intranet/domainname%20intranet/default.htm, then I get Error 404
page can not find.

I am using windows 2000 active directroy, and have the domain group policy
set to the same default home page. I also checked the registery for the key
start page, it is correct.

I am using a single name domain name. and I have no problem before upgrading
to IE 7.

Also, if I click the home icon on the ie tool bar, I get to the correct url.
The problem just happens every time when I start IE.

I see in http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/ie7/default.mspx that
the recommended newsgroup is microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general

In a proper newsreader:
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general

If you must use a web interface:
http://www.microsoft.com/communitie...?dg=microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general
