IE6's visited links and forms autofill cease accepting new data

I recently upgraded to IE6 via XP Pro and both these
features worked fine. Then suddenly they ceased
accepting new data. Old links visited still show
the "visited" color and old form autofills still work.
However, I can't it to accept any new data for either
feature.

I'm assuming there is a file issue here, but I've not
been able to identify how to release whatever "blockage"
there is so these features will work as before.

Any advice and direction will be deeply appreciated. I'd
appreciate private emails labelled IE6 PROBLEM so I don't
accidentally delete it! Thanks.
