IE6 Won't Start

When I launch from either a shortcut or from IEXPLORE.EXE
it opens briefly, then immediately closes. I can open GIF,
JPG, etc., by lciking "Open With...", however, on HTM or
HTML files, it says...

"Cannot find the file 'C:\test.htm' (or one of its
components). Make sure the path and filename are correct
and that all requried liabraries are available."

Hi Robert,

Have you Tried to repair/reinstall IE?
This article explain how to accomplish that for Windows XP
