I'm running IE 6 with SP 1 on XP home edition, and all of a
sudden, my internet service is incredibly slow when
browsing with IE. I've narrowed the problem down to a
missing file in IE so I'd like to figure out how to to a
"repair" of IE 6. I've tried using this article:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?kbid=318378
but whenever I try re-installing, I get an error message
saying that it cannot continue to install because of a
missing or corrupt file in my IE installatin directory.
This is a problem with XP, cause you can't un-install then
re-install IE since it comes with XP. So, now I'm out of
ideas. Any help would be great, thanks.
