IE6 Stoped working after XP Update

IE6 Stopped working after XP Update..
XP Media Edition Updated, it asked me to restart computer, after that when
you launch IE6 all you get is the same screen as if you choose 'use blank'
under 'tools - internet options'
When you type in a web address it seems to search for it untill you select
stop.
I am using another web brouser on that machine post this question.

I'm having the same problem. Please, help. Without IE, I can't get access to
windows update. After u[dating Windows XP Home SP2, IE will keep showing
"website unavailable" even though internet connection is OK (Firefox works).
No proxy running.
