IE6 = Slow

I have a broadband connection and yet IE6 is slow as can be. Netscape 7 is
like a typhoon by comaparison. Are there any registry tweaks I can make to
improve things. I think the problem is relative to my machine as my second
pc has no such problems. I had a virus recently (now removed) and it appears
to have damaged my system - messing with my networking etc.
