IE6 Search facilitiy

I used to be able to type in a word in the address bar of IE6 (SP2) and the
Microsoft search engine would appear.
This would alos happen if I spelt something wrong or it didn't recognise the
address I was looking for.

But now all I get is these symbols appearing :///?% example: -
http:///? www.recordergroup.co.uk

Has anyone experienced the same problem, have you cured this problem?

Open Regedit, navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet
Explorer. Double-click on CustomizeSearch & SearchAssistant and replace the
addresses with http://search.msn.com/
