IE6 runs extreemly slow on Windows98

Use cable conntection to the internet but have to wait
several minutes for each page to load. Have cleared all
temp files, cookies, and history. Any Suggestions?
 
Spyware, for example CoolWebSearch. Get scanners and remove spyware.
