IE6 problems when changing the user

I run Dell laptop with WinXP and IE6. For some reasons IE6 works fine for one user but slows down drastically for the other. Could it be some corruption in the HKey_Current_User part of the Registry and if yes, how to correct it? Alexei
 
Is the other user still logged in when you switch users?
if so try logging off of one before you log into the other.

it might be a bug?

No, this happens when I log on as a different user but with the same administrator status. I did run different virus and spyware checks and the reports come clean. Alexei
