IE6 opening minimised windows

IE6 has started opening windows in a very small bar (2 1/2" long) which has
three buttons and part of the description showing. The main problem is
spotting the window has opened at all as it is so small.

Does anyone know how to stop this happening? I would prefer it to open large
windows. TIA.

That's actually a tiny IE window. Stretch it out to the desired size. Make
it the last IE window closed. It should remember that size.

Thanks for that at first when I tried to stretch the window the pc locked
up. I did an IE repair and eventually got it to work as you suggested. Why
would that have locked up the pc? System resources have been quite low since
I installed Norton Internet Security last Dec.

I don't know why resizing a window would cause a freeze. I think many users
simply have too many programs running in the background. And many IE
problems are actually caused by another program.

Have you checked for adware, spyware, parasites lately?
