IE6 messing up

My IE 6.0 has been messing up, it goes slow when it is on
a page that has any drop boxes, or typing areas. When you
try to type in a box, (ex: search engine), it does not
respond quickly. I find myself typing the entire word or
phrase before it responds on the computer. If anyone has
help please reply. Thanks!
 
Try this
Close all instances of Internet Explorer and Outlook
Express
Control Panel | Internet Options | General tab
Click Settings and move the slider to the right, click Ok
Click Delete Files and also select: "Delete all offline
files", click Ok
Click Clear History, click Ok, Apply\Ok
