IE6 logo testing problem

Alright this is frustrating, im having a problem where
whenever i close IE6 by pressing the close button (X
button) it comes up saying it has detected a error and do
i want to send it to microsoft. ive found no help to fix
this so i want to reinstall IE6 , i download it and it
says its for WINXP but it will not install, says it cannot
be verified with logo testing, NEED HELP, thanks

IE6 on Windows XP is a windows component that can be added or removed.
Please try:

Start->Settings->Control Panel->Add/Remove Windows Component (This is on
the left hand Nav Bar)-> Internet Explorer (Uncheck checkbox to remoce and
check to install).

You made need your original XP CD.
