My ISP is www.virgin.net and on the home page is a section entitled " Today
on Virgin.net ".

Instead of the pictures etc in this section , all I can see is a Virgin.Net
logo.

I'm sure it is some setting in IE but I am a novice at this and would
appreciate some help in adjusting IE6 to see this content.

Virgin support have suggested reinstalling IE6. Is this really necessary as
I have no trouble viewing other sites on the WWW.

Any help much appreciated.

It may be a HOSTS file problem.
Look also for a file named HOSTS (no extension, could be hidden) rename it
OLDHOSTS.
If doubleclick is hidden behind these images and you are blocking it then
the images will not be shown.

If you did not create the file, then you may have parasites, or you are
using a web accelerator program that would be causing this problem.

If the images are generated by a script then your script or Java VM may need
to be updated.
They can tell you.

Check your Java Support
Found out what version you have and you should be able to get what you need.

Microsoft's Scripting download
Get the latest. Two download versions are available for Windows Script 5.6.
The first version requires Windows 2000, XP; the second version requires
Microsoft Windows 98, Millenium Edition (Me), or NT 4.0.
Choose the download appropriate for your operating system.
