Internet Explorer is getting slower and slower.
I have cleared the temp, cookies and history files.
It is also very slow to recognise updates to my website - Mozilla
recognises these instantly..
Running Pentium 3.0 - 512 Mg RAM 120 Gig HD WinXP Pro.
Any help would really be appreciated.
Brian.

Is your hard drive partitioned?

Do you run Disk Defragmenter?

Hope this helps.

Yes, I have the drive defragged and no it is not partioned (120Gg)
Brian.

Thanks Don..
I have set the TIF to 50Mgs but that has not speeded things up I'm
afraid.
I am unable to delete the IE Temp Internet folder as it is a Windows
System file and won't allow deletion.
Brian.

Me being daft... Sorry Mike... Deleted that folder but still sloooow.
Perhaps I am just expecting too much from IE.. It was alright a few
weeks ago, has to be something I have downloaded.
Brian.

Disabling TweakXP Pro has solved the problem. I need to have a look
to see what I had done to cause this.
My grateful thanks to you Mike and to Don and Gerry for the interest
and the help,
Brian.
