IE6 full of Bugs -where to get NetScape?

Hi
Anyone who knows where to download NetScape

I would have liked to stay with IE6 but it simply doesn't work any longer (bugs or viruses or both?), and MicroSoft refuses to offer a re-installation download as I understand it.
And the XP recovery also refuses to back my computer to a previous date... -Anyone who knows if it would be wise to change to Linux as well? If so, which vendors has the best customer care?

In Windows XP, you need to make a registry edit to reinstall IE.

Reinstall or Repair Internet Explorer and Outlook Express in Windows XP

The problem is that most fixes require the actual XP cd while a majority of
users only have some type of restore cd because they purchased a pc from
Dell, HP, Compaq, Gateway, Emachines, etc. Any way of getting around that
dilemma?

Yea, Internet Explorer has pretty much reached it's time, not only is it full of bugs, but it doesn't have very good CSS support, it's almost just as bad as Netscape 4.x used to be. Netscape has stopped making browsers, however the browser's modern core project, Mozilla, is still very active. If you're used to the Netscape Communicator style of things than I'd suggest you download Mozilla 1.x from the following location
http://www.mozilla.org/products/mozilla1.x/download

Hope this helps

You can go to www.netscape.com and download it from there.
I just checked it out and when I clicked on about netscape
at the bottom of the web page, then on the next web page
click on products and it will take you to Netscape Broswer
Central where you can download Netscape 7.1 for free. I do
believe you can also order the CD for download for a
charge. Hope this helps you.

Such users generally have a C:\Windows\I386 folder with the needed contents.
