IE6 error

Three days ago Ie6 started shutting down after reporting
and error and now it even does the same thing when viewing
offline content even though I am not connected to internet
the problem is getting worse. Although I seem to be able
to surf microsoft sites any otherrs cause Ie6 to shutdown.
Does anyone have a solution as I am my wits end

Check for viruses. The "Blaster" virus behaved exactly
like this.
