Hi folks : Since installing SP2 , Internet Explorer can't access
internet. I get a "page cannot be displayed" error. Odd thing is,
though, that I can access Microsoft sites no problem - but only after
working the fix which I found here, to solve my "windows update" error
probs
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/co...-8231-6719a644fe5e&cat=&lang=en&cr=US&m=1&p=1

Using Mozilla I can access internet as usual, without any problem.
Would anybody have any idea why I have this prob with IE6? I have put
certain sites in my "trusted sites" area, but even these cannot be
accessed - only via Mozilla. I have even tried eliminating all
security settings - not recommended - but IE6 wtill won't access.

And why can I only access Microsoft sites?

Thanks for any help!

I am also dealing with this problem slowly on another person's computer
My recent research has led me to believe it is related to Norton, and i
my instance Norton Internet Security. I have yet to reschedule a
appointment to fix the girls computer, and test my theory, so I haven'
got an answer yet. In my previous attempt I tried a clean mail copy o
the SP2 install, just in case it was related to a download error
Anyways, I will try to reply again as I solve mine.
