ie6 address bar button

i have win2k and suddenly one day my ie decides to lockup.
Whenever I click the button to see recent links next to
the "Go" button and next to the address bar ie locks up.
Are there any possible solutions to this? I have already
removed ie as a windows component in Add/Remove Programs
as well as installing ie6 setup.

Thanks in advance

The History button?

Try deleteting the History folder and index.dat:

Try clearing the history. If not deleting the Index.dat might help (refer the site I mentioned)
