IE6.0 takes forever to load

As of about 3 weeks ago, my IE6.0 running on an XP box has
been taking forever to load. Once loaded, it takes forever
to load a web page and to get the screen to change - this
is true for both on-line contenet and local (off-line)
content. All other Win Apps run just fine - except for
those using the Explorer screens (i.e. - My Computer,
Windows Explorer,
etc.). I'm virus and ad free, have not loaded any new
software, and have cleared out my cache, cookies, etc.
Also, both Outlook and Netscape run just fine. Ideas? - JBK
