Hi, whenever I enable third party extensions so I can use
the yahoo companion bar that came with ie6 for yahoo I get
an error. it says ie has caused an error in kernal
(paraphrased of course) and closes my browser. However,
when I uncheck enable I am able to serve the internet but
I can't use the companion which is why i downloaded it. I
spoke with yahoo and they say the problem is not on their
end. Is there anything I can do about this? What's the
point in advertising a special version for yahoo users if
it doesn't even work correctly. Please explain this error
with 3rd party extensions.

Yahoo is a 3rd party Browser object. As are some parasites.
When you activate your setting you also are opening the door to others.

There's a good possibility that this is being caused by a third-party
program (adware, spyware, parasite).
