IE Won't "Back Up" from Search Results Pages

There doesn't appear to be an Internet Explorer forum, so here goes: when I use IE 6.0.2800.1106 on sites that allow "slice & dice" selection of various search parameters (e.g., search used cars by year / make / max mileage / price range), IE will display the results, but if I click through into one of the results detail pages, IE will not allow me to use the "Back" function -- rather, I get this error message

"Warning: Page has Expired The page you requested was created using information you submitted in a form. This page is no longer available. As a security precaution, Internet Explorer does not automatically resubmit your information for you.

This started about 90 days ago, perhaps as the result of (either) a MS service pack, or installing McAfee Firewall. Any suggestions on how I can restore normal back/forward functionality to IE 6?

when opening the web page you want to visit, right click and open in new window, then close the window when you are done, and your search will still be there.

So far as I know, this is normal and expected behavior.

Hi John,

This is fairly normal and is generally controlled by the web page you're
visiting.

Try this:
Rignt-click on the "Back" arrow. Choose your page from the list.
