Don't know exactly when it happened but Idownloaded LimeWire and that will not show. other Web pages & proramms act as normal
If everything was working okay before you installed LimeWire, there's the
problem. Remove it in Add/Remove Programs then reboot. See if your problems
are gone. It may have been a buggy installation so you can reinstall it and
hope all is well this time. If not post back.

Thanks Smoker I have already tried that and it's still the same problem as it happens with both IE & Opera I think it may be somewhere in the XP settings
may try to do a system restore go back to a date when you knew your computer
was still working properly
