IE toolbars move

I am trying to use both the Google and eBay toolbars in IE 6.0 SP1. I want to
put both toolbars on the same line. However, after I get them set just right
and "lock the toolbars", I find that the eBay toolbar reverts to its original
position (on a separate line) each time I open a new IE window! Any advice?

Hi rndilger :)

Try the following and see if it helps:

Toolbar settings are not saved (IE):

If these steps do not resolve your problem, or you need help with the above,
please post back to this thread with the details and any error messages.

Hope this helps

Jan Il,

Thanks for the post. I tried both of the applicable fixes on the page you
provided without luck. So basically, resetting the toolbars didn't fix the
problem. Additionally, I am positive that I do not have a virus or any
malware (I've run multiple scans with multople programs). Is it possible that
there is a line of code which requires that one of these toolbars be on its
own line? Just a question.

Hi rndilger :)
Jan Il,

Thanks for the post. I tried both of the applicable fixes on the page you
provided without luck. So basically, resetting the toolbars didn't fix the
problem. Additionally, I am positive that I do not have a virus or any
malware (I've run multiple scans with multople programs). Is it possible that

That is possible that some script of code requires that it be in some
specific placement. I am not that knowledgeable about those toolbars as I
have never used them. I do know from the experiences of others who have
that they can be very controlling, and perhaps this is an indicaiton of that
level of control. I just really can't say for sure.

What I suggest is that you go to the Google Toolbar and eBay Toolbar forums
and ask them and see what they say, or suggest. Or, perhaps someone else
here may have information that might help as well.

Good luck, and I hope you find a solution soon.
