IE stopped working

Since getting the new update before the 4-1-09 virus was due to hit, my IE
works some times and some times it doesn't. I only got the update o my
desktop and not my laptop or other home unit and they work just fine. This
is file version 7.0.6001.18000. Product version 7.00.6000.16386.
Any suggestions other than change to FF. How can I delete IE and reinstall
it. I have tried tio uninstall but cannot

How is this an Outlook issue?
