IE stop responding when requesting many images

When my browser IE 6.0.3790.0 (Windows 2003 Server) request >40 images
at a webpage, it just hangs. It's a new clean windows installation
with *all* updates, so I can't tell that it happen after install of
specfic fix.

I'm pretty sure that it is a "request to many problem", if I change
the html, so it only request 39 images, there is no problem getting
the images from the same webpage. I have test it on more then one
website, and it's all the same.

After that, I have tried to install this...

But it didn't fix the problem ;(
- I'm not sure if it actually replaced the dll-file (and yes I did a
reboot)

The MS-page says this:
15-Jul-2003 00:39 6.0.3790.68 623,616 Wininet.dll

My system has this:
15-Jan-2004 20:28 6.0.3790.118 624,640 wininet.dll

Any help would be nice
