IE Spikes CPU

Launching IE Spikes the CPU to 100% until the page has
completely loaded. In taskmanager, the two services that
account for the spike are iexplorer and system. This is a
win2k server, I've tried reSP4'n, reIE6'n and updating the
NIC drivers.

Anyone further suggestions are greatly appreciated.
