IE shut down

My browser shuts down when I try to test my broadband
speed on any test site. I've tried 8 or 10 sites chosen
from the first four pages of a Google search
for "Broadband speed test sites" and it happens with all
of the sites. I've run a virus scan, SpyBot Search and
Destroy and Ad Aware with no help for the problem.
Anyone have any suggestions?

Hi Jim,
Not sure if this will help but it won't hurt:
Click tools/internet options/settings/view objects
Delete everything in this folder that doesn't
say "Installed"
If this problem is cause by a corrupt plugin, it should
now be fine.

I have a similiar problem with IE shutting down
immadiatly after going to certain sites. Was wondering
if you found a fix?

JR: I deleted two objects that were not installed,
didn't help. Thanks for your interest and reply

Chris: Not yet, I found a site on page 10 or 11 of the
Google search and was able to test my speed, but still
close down when I try the others.
