We have found that if a person using Ms Internet Explorer has set their
Internet Options privacy settings to High then they are not able to view some
of our asp web pages which provide the results to their searches. (These asp
pages have no malicious or intrusive coding. )
Yet there is no notification provided by IE to tell the user that their
Privacy settings have prevented them from viewing the webpage.
While on this point the message you get for pop up blocking is not obvious
to the user either this causes problem for many sites which use a pop up to
confirm an action / request by the visitor.
