Hello
ive recieved the IE print script error close to a bajillion times, and I think it has to do with visiting Secured web sites (ie, any url with "https://....." notice the 's') and clicking print preview. THATS ALL
The IE Print Script Error usually comes in the form of an error box like this
-------------------------------------------
/!\ An error has occured in the script on this page
Line: 133
Char:
Error: Invalid argumen
code:
URL: res://c:\WINNT\system32\shdoclc.dll/preview/dl
Would you like to continue? [Yes] [No
---------------------------------------------------
THE BEST WAY TO GET RID OF THIS ERROR IS TO
---> go to Add Remove Programs (in Control Panel from My Computer
--> Select Microsoft Internet Explorer.......(ver., etc,) and hit 'Remove
-> A Box pops up, giving you the option to "Repair" IE. Do This
there are other ways, if that doesnt work. I used to use a method that kinda went like this
---->find the installation CAB files, particularly one titled "Ie_s5.cab
---> inside that CAB, there is a file called IEPEERS.dll, extract that fil
--> restart into MS-DOS mode, and swap the new file for the old one using archaic dos commmand
-> restart into Windows, then register the file by typing
"C:\WINDOWS\OPTIONS\CABS\PWS\REGSVR32.EXE IEPEERS.DLL
into the Run.. dialog box from the start menu
(for more information on this process, do some searches for "iepeers.dll"
PS i am runningn IE 6.0.2600 on a Windows 98/SE machine. I STILL GET THIS ERROR, but at least i can battle it a bit ;
I hope this helps
