IE not keeping personal settings

I have an odd event happening that causes inconvenience, but not real
problem, but am wondering what would cause it and if it's a harbinger of
something more serious: from time to time all my cookies seem to
effectively disappear. I notice it because I suddenly have to re-orient
every site I visit to my preferences: wsj.com no longer knows I'm a
member, accuweather.com doesn't know what my location is for "local
weather," etc. It's happened 2 or 3 times in the last couple months.

Any ideas? thanks, pb

Hi,

It may be that cookies are expiring - that is, they may
no longer be valid after x amount of time. Alternatively,
you may want to confirm that you do not have any programs
which are prematurely deleting those cookies.
