IE minimize

When I minimize my Internet Explorer it disappears, it used to go to the
taskbar now it does not and I can seem to fix it....Any help

Hi,
There was a trojan/worm circulating about 3 years ago which had this effect.
If FriendGreetings or something similar is listed in Control Panel>
Add/remove programs, uninstall it.

In any case, update your antivirus program and run it. Some free AV programs
are listed at http://www.aumha.org/freeware/mfav.htm

You might also try uninstalling any programs (especially) freeware that
you've installed in the last few days. You may find that one of them is
causing this.

A System Restore may help. I would not use a Restore point older than 4 or 5
days.

You may be infected with malware (adware, spyware, etc)

Start by running BHODemon 2.0 from
http://www.definitivesolutions.com/bhodemon.htm The offender may simply be a
BHO.

Then you should also download, update and run Ad-aware, Spybot and MS
Anti-Spyware (Beta.)

You may have to register and post a HijackThis log to one of these forums
for additional help. Look for the proper forum and an "Important- Read This
First" message so that you follow proper procedure.
