IE GP Security Settings

I just took over a SBS 2003 network. Users can not run any Java apps, IE
keeps saying Java isn't installed. I try to adjust the security settings in
IE but they are greyed out. I've looked through Group Policy and can't find
the settings.

I've looked in...
1) Computer\Admin Templates\Win Components\Internet Explorer
2) User\Admin Templates\Win Components\Internet Explorer

I've even run the GP Management and can't find the results in there. I have
found the security settings, but I want to re-enable user access to the IE
settings until I can find out why Java won't run. Is there one overall
setting to Disable the GP IE controls?

Thanks!

If you find the GPO link that is controlling the settings you should be able
simply "disable" it until you are done with your investigation. By the way,
I've run into a similar problem in the past. It's possible that you do not
have Microsoft Virtual Machine (MVM) installed in your browsers. If this is
the case you can either download and install MVM or Java to fix the problem.
