I Psoted this earlier and was told to post the message.

I am having problems wit IE. When I start the computer
up a msg box appears stating that there is error in some
module and a long list of codes where the error occurs.

The dialogbox with the error cannot be close and stays
permanently on the screen and cannot be closed.

This is the error message:

"Explorer caused an invalid page fault in module
KERNEK32.dll at 0167:BFF87F03
Register:" and long list ox hex codes

I am unable to log on to the internet. On one occasion I
was able to send a report to Microsoft of the error
message but still unable to get to the internet.

I have tried to repair IE but still does not solve the
problem.

Any suggestions

Thanks

Tim,
Possibly caused by an adware, spyware, parasite program.
See:
Dealing with Unwanted Spyware and Parasites:
http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/unwanted.htm
You'll want to run at least Ad-aware & Spybot S&D.

A legitimate program running in the background may be causing this. Disable
(for diagnostic purposes) programs such as pop-up blockers, security,
anti-virus, etc. Also... notorious for causing problems- Gator, Kazaa and
some others.

There are other possibilities for KERNEL32 errors, including corrupted or
outdated video drivers

Additional information at:

Post back if you need additional help.

Regards,
Don
