IE encountered a problem

Hello all,
Everytime when I start the browser (IE 6), I got "IE has
encountered a problem and needs to close".
In the detal page, it shows AppName: iexplore.exe; AppVer:
6.0.28001106; modName: Unknown; ModVer: 0.0.0.0; Offset:
00000018
Please tell me how to fix this error because I'm unable to
use my home computer in the past two days. Thanks.

First eliminate scumware. See
