IE Download box opening .vbd under XP servicepack 2

I have a self written (VB6) IE "Homepage" which opens
without problem under Windows '98, ME, & XP. Since
installing XP Service Pack 2. IE now displays a File
Download box asking whether I want to Save or Open
tne .vbd file. After clicking 'Open' the application
works as before. I have been unable to turn off any
security setting which would eliminate this box appearing.

well whaddya know. i just replied to this on some other website. please let
me know how youre doing with this or if youve just given up (as you havent
had any replies) or if you cant remember coz it was so long ago. cheers.
