IE closes on certain sites

When I try to go to several certain websites (ex.
www.gap.com), my IE seems like it is connecting (the
corner flag moves) but then freezes. After that, the
window closes and a notepad icon appears on my desk top
titled something like "hs_err_pid3392" and has a message
and a lot of java language and file locations listed.
Does anyone know how to fix this?

I have downloaded the msblast patch. I have checked my
computer for any files with msblast in them and I come up
with nothing.

Actually I would look in to either the video driver or DirectX on your
machine. Either one could be the culprit.
