wherein one can view multiple sites or
during the download.
I am having a problem with ie6sp1 during
the download, it is dead slow to view the
ng's posting.

Download a nice freeware news reader such as Free Agent, or 40tude Dialog. I
find that Outlook Express is a pain.

Contact your ISP to see if they have an alternate news server that you can
use.

I know it's not popular around tech forums to say this but I prefer OE for
email and text-based newsgroups. For newsgroup binaries, I use Xnews.
