IE 7 Question - Menu Bar Setup

First of all, is there an "Internet Explorer 7" group that I should be
visiting instead of here? I do not see the appropriate section for this
posting.

However......since I do see some other 7.0 posts, here is my current
question anyway. :c)

I have had 7.0 at home for quite some time now and no complaints per say.
We were just allowed to upgrade at the work place just the other day so I
jumped right on it. However, I am having difficulty with some of the custom
settings holding each time I re-execute. Such as.....I right click on the
Menu Bar and select "Links". It appears and I can relocate it where I prefer
etc. no problemo. But after closing the current IE window and reopening a
new one I have to do this process again and again and again.......

I've attempted playing with the locking of menu bar and not locking and that
isn't making any difference. What else could this be?

The IE build number I have is 75730, so assume I'm all up to date???

Please try the IE7 group.
The recommended newsgroup is microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general
