IE 6 XP SP2

When I click a link and a external window pops up in IE sometimes that window
will just sit there and not display any info (locks up from this point).
Sometimes I can just close IE completely and just restart and it works for a
few more minutes. Othertimes I can't close this other window (Comes up with
msg saying that closing window will stop running process or something to that
nature if I click ok it never goes away) Other times I will have 3 or 4
browser windows open and they all will close and I hear the windows chime.
This is a very annoying problem I sometimes even have to logout and log back
in. Computer was reloaded and patched recently because I wanted to rule out
corrupt windows.

I ran System File Checker to make sure the windows files were not corrupt.
I have Norton Internet Security 05, MS AntiSpyware so I have no virus or
spyware.

A "clean" report from MS AntiSpyware beta does not mean you are spyware-free
(and it prolly never will).

Well I'm actually running multiple spyware and virus scans on the unit. I
know it is clean.
