IE 6 window switching..annoying, HELP

Hi

Everytime i am on the net and have several windows open,
a window that i would be working in would switch
automatically to a window that is opening. How can i stop
this. Like i would be viewing/browsing in a window and it
would automatically swtich to another window that is
opening. Is there a way i can stop the 'switching'
process? so i would be browsing one window can the second
window open without switching to it.

Minimise the loading window using the minimise button (top right hand corner
of window). Don't use the taskbar to switch between windows.
